JAMESTOWN, N.D. (JRMC) – Jamestown Regional Medical Center (JRMC) recently announced Korri Aesoph, a registered nurse in its Emergency Department, as its latest Legend Award recipient — the medical center’s highest employee honor.
The Legend Award recognizes JRMC team members who exceed expectations and whose work leaves a lasting, meaningful impact. Like the rings of a tree, each action taken in compassion, courage and commitment contributes to a legacy that endures.
Aesoph was nominated by her colleagues, Katherine Barta and Catherine Kautz, who both praised her exceptional clinical expertise, leadership and dedication to both her patients and coworkers.
“Korri is a highly qualified nurse with years of experience,” the nominators wrote. “She is a great resource for nurses. Staff go to her for help during emergencies or when they need backup support.”
In their nomination, Barta and Kautz highlighted Aesoph’s ability to mentor younger nurses by building their confidence and strengthening their critical-thinking skills. They described her as an ideal role model who leads by example every day.
“She does her work with humor and builds camaraderie among staff,” Barta and Kautz wrote. “She is an amazing coworker and truly deserves this recognition.”
As a nurse in the Emergency Department, Aesoph plays a large role in providing exceptional care in fast-paced, high-pressure environments. Her ability to remain composed in urgent situations while mentoring, encouraging others and providing support throughout JRMC reflects the true spirit of the Legend Award.
Aesoph’s dedication reflects JRMC’s mission to make a difference in the lives of both patients and employees.
