N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Local and state authorities were involved in a pursuit through Jamestown Wednesday afternoon.

Stutsman County Sheriff Chad Kaiser reports that 23 year-old Levi Guthmiller had been spotted driving under suspension by a Task Force Officer. Guthmiller fled the officer, speeding past stop signs and driving recklessly.

“Three Sheriff’s vehicles were in pursuit along with the police officer and three Highway patrolmen were in the area to assist in the chase,” Kaiser pointed out.

Kaiser says the pursuit ended when Guthmiller evaded the officers. After the pursuit it was found that the vehicle being driven was stolen. Kaiser reports that charges are being filed officially and the vehicle as well as Guthmiller remain at large.

The vehicle is a white 2004 4-door Grand AM. If you see Guthmiller or the vehicle, contact authorities immediately at 701-251-6200 or 911.

Guthmiller had charges filed against him in a March traffic stop that found guns and drugs in Jamestown. Click here for that story.
