N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Fraternal Order of Police has minted a coin to commemorate the service of Fargo Police Officer Jason Moszer.

Proceeds from the coin will be used to send Moszer’s family and friends to Washington, DC, where Moszer’s name will be etched on the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial. A ceremony will be held at the memorial in May during National Police Week.

The coins cost $15.00 each.  They can be purchased at the Fargo Police Department or the KFGO studios at 1020 25th St. South in Fargo.

Moszer died in February, 2016 after he was shot during a domestic disturbance in north Fargo.
