N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Spring cleaning is on the minds of residents and the city is ready to assist with their annual City-Wide Cleanup week.
The city reports that city crews will be doing curbside pickup of discarded and unwanted items at no charge from May 1st through May 4th. This will be for occupied residential dwellings only. Commercial, educational and religious entities are not included in the cleanup.
The cleanup has been split into four separate days for different parts of the city, making it easier for city crews and residents to participate;
Monday, May 1st – Southeast section
Tuesday, May 2nd – Southwest section
Wednesday, May 3rd – Northwest section
Thursday, May 4th – Northeast section
Tree branches, basic household items and small scale building and remodeling debris will be picked up. Items such as clothing, appliances, electronics, and normal household garbage will not be picked up.
For a flyer, stop by the Jamestown City Hall offices for a full list of items that can and can’t be picked up by city crews. You can view the residential map below.
