N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Members of the Jamestown Area Chamber of Commerce Ambassador Committee and the Young Professionals of Jamestown presented a Customer Service Award to Joseph Sierra, UPS supervisor, who received the award on behalf of Samantha Franke, manager of the UPS service location of Jamestown.

Samantha recently had her baby, and was unable to be present at the award presentation. Also in attendance was Tim Newt, UPS employee, to help share in the presentation to Samantha. The chamber honors individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers by exceeding their requirements or expectations.

Samantha’s letter of nomination stated, “Samantha is the manager of UPS in Jamestown. The month of December is a very busy month here at our business for special orders, repairs and customer requests. Samantha knows and understands how important it is for us to receive our packages in a timely manner. Because of this, she went above and beyond, delivering the packages herself, making sure we received them quickly. The week of the snowstorms, when it was chaos at UPS, Samantha personally would take the time to find our air delivers and bring them to our store herself. Thank you, Samantha, for your wonderful customer service and caring for your customers.”

Congratulations to Samantha, who along with all the other monthly winners, will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual banquet in January 2018. Customer Service Award nomination forms are available at the Chamber office and on their website at www.jamestownchamber.com or call at 701-252-4830.
