FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)-Two Valley City varsity wrestlers had outstanding performances at the Rumble on the Red held Dec. 28th and 29th at the Fargodome.

The Rumble on the Red is one of the largest high school wrestling tournaments in the Nation. This years Rumble featured 85 teams representing 6 different states.

Koye Grebel just a 7th grader wrestling in the 85lbs Junior Varsity division finished in 4th place.  Junior Varsity wrestlers can be 7-12th graders. Koye battled against 38 other competitors in his bracket. Koye is one of the hardest working wrestlers on the Hi-Liner team.

Senior Logan Erlandson wrestling in the Varsity 182lbs weight class placed 8th.  Logan becomes just the 5th Valley City varsity wrestler to place in this prestigious tournament.  Logan is currently ranked 2nd in the State of North Dakota at 182lbs. Logan currently has 137 varsity wins for his career.  Logan is one of the mainstays on the Hi-Liner team that is in first place in the EDC with  a 4-0 conference record
