N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown met for the first time in 2018 on January 2nd.
The council tabled an agreement with the Jamestown Community Correction Program to provide community service and restitution program services for a fee of $3 per hour, approved entering into a franchise agreement with Northern Plains Electric Cooperative contingent upon obtaining a source map and failed to approve payment to Otter Tail Power Company for a relocation of power line on the 5th Street NE project.
One of the other items discussed was entering into a proposal and contract with AE2S once more for City Administrator Search Services. Councilman Dan Buchanan stated that they had plans for an interview recently and didn’t know if it would be necessary to enter into another agreement.
Mayor Katie Andersen pointed out that they would like to begin advertising for the new position, which requires the contract.
The proposal was unanimously approved.
