JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – With a demand for swim lessons in Jamestown and the area, the Two Rivers Activity Center (TRAC) undertook the responsibility.

TRAC Facilities Manager Amy Walters reports that when the city pool closed last summer, they understood that it would be TRAC that would fill that role.

Walters reports that their first course was very successful.

Walters says because of the demand, waitlists have been created. She encourages parents who are signing up their kids to sign them up even if there’s a waitlist.

Walters says they will be moving the pool to summer hours. Currently, the pool is closed from 1 to 4 PM. She says they’ll keep their hours of operation for the entire facility before they adjust their overall hours.
