VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Former Senator Byron Dorgan is concerned about the direction the Trump Administration is taking when it comes to the current trade war with china and other countries. He’s also concerned about the future direction of the Affordable Care Act (ACA).

He’s joined an ad hoc group called Dakotans for Health, which advocates the importance of maintaining provisions of the Affordable Care Act and working to improve the law so that it works better for everyone.

Dorgan said, after multiple attempts by Congress to repeal the Affordable Care Act, the Trump Administration, along with allies in Congress, are pushing to eliminate these and other consumer protections in the courts through a lawsuit that the North Dakota Attorney General’s office supports.

Dorgan was a guest on our Voice of the Valley show on September 27th expressing is concerns on these and other topics during the show.
