JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Prairie Business Magazine has released their annual 40 Under 40 list, which features 40 of the top business professionals under the age of 40 in the Northern Plains.

“These inspiring and dedicated professionals come from a wide range of industries and have made significant impacts in their chosen professions, industries and communities,” the magazine states. “They are entrepreneurs, industry experts, executives and nonprofit leaders; they are business owners, government officers, environmental advocates and regional trendsetters.”

Some area individuals made the list including Stephanie Roelfsema, Director for Residence Life at Valley City State University and Greg Ross, Vice President for Finance and Business Affairs at the University of Jamestown.

“The region’s economy is strong, and that’s really giving young people an opportunity to shine,” said Tom Dennis, editor of Prairie Business.

“And not only are these high achievers standouts in their work, but also they show exceptional devotion to their families and communities. The work-life balance they’ve achieved is impressive — and in my view, that makes their individual success stories all the more inspiring.”

Ross was hired at the University of Jamestown on January 15th, 2018. He spent 13 years as the controller for Bismarck State College and had been the college’s interim associate vice president for finance and operations. Ross graduated from UJ in 2004 with a degree in accounting and business administration. He later earned a Master of Business Administration in accountancy from the University of Mary.
