JAMESTOWN, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The James River Figure Skating Club attended their final competition of the season at the 30th Annual Magic City International Figure Skating Competition in Minot February 22-24.
Thirteen clubs with 137 skaters competed in 127 events over the weekend.
Individual results include:
McKenna Becker – 1st in Pre-Preliminary Compulsory Moves, 4th in Pre-Preliminary Light Entertainment, 3rd in Pre-Preliminary Free Skate; Brooke Graalum – 9th in Preliminary Compulsory Moves, 2nd in Preliminary Light Entertainment; 5th in Preliminary Free Skate; Karla Sherfy – 1st in Pre-Juvenile Compulsory Moves 1st in Pre-Juvenile Light Entertainment, 1st in Pre-Juvenile Free Skate; 1st in Pre-Juvenile Spins; Terese Kolden – 2nd in Pre-Preliminary Compulsory Moves, 3rd in Pre-Preliminary Light Entertainment, 2nd in Pre-Preliminary Free Skate; Synneva Sortland – 4th in Preliminary Compulsory Moves, 1st in Preliminary Light Entertainment; 2nd in Preliminary Free Skate; Avery Graves – 1st in Pre-Preliminary Compulsory Moves, 2nd in Pre-Preliminary Light Entertainment, 3rd in Pre-Preliminary Free Skate; Ella Grosulak – 4th in Pre-Preliminary Compulsory Moves, 1st in Pre-Preliminary Light Entertainment, 4th in Pre-Preliminary Free Skate; Reece Heery – 5th in Beginner Compulsory Moves, 1st in Beginner Light Entertainment; 1st in Beginner Free Skate; Keira Lambrecht – 7th in Beginner Compulsory Moves, 2nd in Beginner Light Entertainment, 4th in Beginner Free Skate; Haylee Widman – 8th in Beginner Compulsory Moves, 3rd in Beginner Light Entertainment, 6th in Beginner Free Skate.
The team is coached by Mark Vasarhelyi. Next, 50 JRFSC skaters will present the 42nd Annual Ice Show ‘Dance Your Skates Off’ March 15-17 at the Wilson Arena here in Jamestown.
