(NewsDakota.com) The 2012 American Legion baseball regular season is coming to an end, as this week marks the last week of the season before the Section 2 tournament in Wishek late next week.

At Townsend Field in LaMoure, Oakes Post 36 plays their final game before postseason play against LaMoure Post 19 on Monday night. Post 36 has not played a Legion game in more than a week, as both games last week were called off. As for Post 19, they recently played Enderlin Post 221 on Wednesday night, and fell short in that contest by the score of 6-3.

In their previous meeting at Cummings Field in Oakes back on June 21, Post 19 came out with an 8-5 victory. Beau Diegal was the winning pitcher for Post 19, going four innings, allowing three runs, two earned on six hits, striking out four and walking two. Cody Vogeli took the loss for Post 36 going three and two thirds innings, allowing five runs on five hits and walking six.

First pitch Monday night from Townsend Field is set for 7:30 p.m. with coverage on KDDR 1220-AM/95.9 FM, Q101.1 FM and NewsDakota.com starting around 7:15.
