(NewsDakota.com) All the distractions of Homecoming Week tied into playing one of the top four teams in District 1 didn’t seem to rustle the Oakes High School volleyball team Thursday evening.

The Tornadoes pulled off another three game sweep; this time of the Sargent Central Cadets by scores of 25-8, 27-25 and 27-5 to improve to 5-0 in District 1 play.

Oakes heads to the Lisbon/Enderlin Tournament this Saturday, then hits the road for two games next week; Tuesday against Enderlin and Thursday versus Milnor.
