N.D.–The City of Jamestown will begin dike construction of sandbag dikes in the 2nd Ave SW (Riverbend Townhomes) area and the SW 10th Street areas on either Wednesday, August 24th or Thursday, August 25th,   2011.  
Construction of a clay dike and some smaller sandbag dikes will also begin in the vicinity of the East Business Loop.
Temporary “No Parking” postings are currently going up in these areas and will remain in effect until September 1st, or until the construction is complete.
