Mark McKenzie(NewsDakota.com)…The 2011 high school 9-man football season will kick-off for some area teams on Tuesday night, including Lamoure-Litchville-Marion traveling to Strasburg-Zeeland. Catch all the Loboe games this Fall on Sunny 98.3 FM, and newsdakota.com with Brent Nathaniel and Vance Stemen. Kick-off is set for 7:00 p.m.

Edgeley-Kulm will open up at Richland tonight, Ellendale will host Hankinson, Napoleon-Gackle/Streeter hosts Sargent Central, Dakota Prairie welcomes North Border, F-S-H-P plays Lakota-Adams-Edmore, and New Rockford-Sheyenne opens up at home with Central Valley.

Region I coaches are picking Napoleon-Gackle-Streeter as the team to beat, with Lamoure-Litchville-Marion picked second. Edgeley-Kulm is tabbed as the fourth team in the region, Ellendale is predicted to finish ninth, and Strasburg-Zeeland is picked last, or 10th in the coaches poll.

Region II coaches have selected Hillsboro as the team to beat, Finley-Sharon-Hope-Page is picked sixth, New Rockford-Sheyenne seventh,  and Dakota Prairie is picked eighth.
