Duane McBride, 82, Jamestown, ND, died Saturday, October 13, 2012 at Eventide at Hi-Acres, Jamestown.

 

Paul was born June 23, 1930 in Hazen, ND the son of Arcus and Rachel (Casebolt) McBride. He grew up in Hazen and graduated from Hazen High School. Paul entered the US Navy on May 19, 1951 and served in New Orleans, LA. Upon his discharge on May 18, 1955 he returned to North Dakota. On April 5, 1959 Paul married Margaret Morris in Jamestown. Paul worked for Northwestern Bell Telephone Company for 37 years. He retired in 1992.
Paul was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, hunting and fishing.
Paul is survived by his wife, Margaret, Jamestown; three children, Mark McBride, Jacksonville, AL, Rachel (Dale) Nelles, Fargo, ND and David (Kristen) McBride, Bagley, MN; four grandchildren and one great-grandson.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Harold and Kenneth.
