VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The VCPS Culture Committee, recognized Ms. Jill Kvilvang, Jefferson Elementary 2nd Grade Teacher, for being named the quarter 3 One Smart Cookie for Valley City Public Schools.

Ms. Kvilvang was recognized by her students and colleagues for this honor.  Ms. Kvilvang is a difference maker at Valley City Public Schools, here are a few of the highlights from her nominations: Ms. Kvilvang goes above and beyond to meet each individual student’s needs. She is always willing to innovate and try new things in her classroom. Also, she volunteers her time outside of classroom hours to make a difference in the lives of young women from the region. Ms. Kvilvang is an outstanding educator and leader in Valley City. She is always striving to give every student what they need to grow and builds such a strong relationship with EVERY student in her classroom.
