
JAMESTOWN, N.D. – The Valley City Hi-Liners Track & Field team delivered another stellar showing at the Jamestown Invitational, where standout individual achievements fueled a strong team performance.
Freshman Kadie Kocka sprinted her way into the school record books with the 9th fastest 200-meter time in VCHS history. Meanwhile, sophomore Morgan Larson had a banner day, setting the sophomore class record in the 400 meters, recording the 5th fastest time in school history, and qualifying for the state meet in the event.
As a team, the Hi-Liners had 34 athletes place in the top three and recorded an impressive 34 personal records, showing both depth and consistency across events.
Looking Ahead
With momentum building, the Hi-Liners are poised for a strong finish to the season. The team next competes at home in the Bill Jansen Last Chance Meet on Monday, May 12, with events beginning at 3:00 p.m.
