
JAMESTOWN N.D, (NewsDakota.com) – On May 9th, 2025 the Jamestown Police Department completed an investigation into allegations of Child abuse with a victim under 6 years old and Providing early childhood services after having a license revoked. Initial reports were obtained on April 29th which alleged that a 6 month old victim suffered a spiral fracture of the arm while under the care of an unlicensed childcare provide. After approximately 11 days of investigation the suspect has been arrested.
On the evening of May 9, 2025 a search warrant was executed at the suspect’s residence and evidence related to the initially reported crimes was seized.
55-year-old Deborah E Jespersen of Jamestown was arrested on suspicion of Child Abuse-victim under 6 years old, an A Felony, and Providing early childhood services after having a license revoked, a B Misdemeanor. She is being held in the Stutsman County Correctional Center pending formal charges from the Stutsman County State’s Attorney.
