BISMARCK – Both Jamestown Blue Jay Track & Field teams finished ninth of 11 schools Saturday in the West Region championships at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.

Julia Skari earned her sixth wins of the season in both the 100m and 300m hurdles.  Skari was also fifth in the 200m and eighth in the 100m.

Layna Hoffer took second in the high jump for the Blue Jay girls.

Jamestown’s 4×800 relay team of Mea Ulland, Adisyn Yunck, Jaylynn Olson and Claire Marker was fifth.

For the boys, Brady Harty was fourth in the 300m hurdles.  He also finished seventh in the triple jump.

Two relay teams also finished fourth: the 4×400 relay team of Gradin Thorlakson, Noah Lynch, Aiden Skari and Harty and the 4×800 team of Iddi Ramadhani, Heath Heupel, John Belzer and Micah Stoudt.

The 2025 NDHSAA State Track & Field Championships will be held Thursday through Saturday, also at the MDU Resources Community Bowl.
