
LETHBRIDGE, AB – The Lethbridge Elks jumped to an early 7-0 lead and defeated the Jamestown Eagles 10-1 Friday in the Mary Okinawa Memorial Tournament at Spitz Stadium.
Ty Mabin doubled twice and drove in three runs for the Elks (10-2-1). Willis Takahashi had three hits, including a two-run homer.
Jamestown (5-7) was held to three hits, two by Bennett Goehner.
Adam Sortland took the loss for the Eagles, allowing seven runs and 10 hits in four innings.
Jamestown will play St. Albert AHP Rustlers Black and the Calgary Cubs on Saturday.
