VALLEY CITY, N.D. (VCPR) – Mark your calendars for a day of shopping, sunshine, and supporting our local businesses at the Valley Parks Craft & Vendor Show, happening Saturday, August 2, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Chautauqua Park in Valley City. This outdoor marketplace is free to attend and open to all!

This event is held in conjunction with Sheyenne Riverfest, where an estimated 200 paddlers will decorate the Sheyenne River in colorful kayaks and canoes and make their journey from the National Fish Hatchery to Chautauqua Park.

With over 40 vendors already registered, shoppers can expect a wide variety of goods—perfect for early holiday shopping, gift-giving, or treating yourself. Browse and buy from local makers and small businesses offering everything from wines, canned and freeze-dried goods, jewelry, home décor, and clothing to soaps, candles, baked goods, garden art, fishing lures, skincare, and much more.

This year’s show features items from popular brands like Pampered Chef and Norwex along with plenty of one-of-a-kind handcrafted items such as crocheted animals, embroidered goods, pen and ink prints, wreaths, and glassware.

There will also be food and beverage vendors including Grand Junction, Doodling Dixies, Monkey Balls, and Brockopp Brewing.

Local businesses and organizations are encouraged to participate as vendors! It’s a great way to connect with the community, promote your services, and showcase products. Valley City Chamber of Commerce members will receive a $10 discount on the $25 booth fee. Chamber businesses can contact macys@vcparks.com directly to receive the discounted registration.

Interested non-Chamber member vendors can apply online at www.vcparks.com.

In case of inclement weather, the vendor show will be moved to the VCPR Rec Center. Whether you’re a vendor, a shopper, or just looking for something fun to do outdoors, the Valley Parks Craft & Vendor Show will be the place to be in Valley City.
