WILLISTON – There were two tight sets, including one that went to the home team, but Jamestown Blue Jay Volleyball still had a solid road win.

Jamestown defeated Williston Saturday 24-26, 25-12, 25-16, 25-23 at Jon Cole Gym.

Amelia Newman and Lucy Falk both achieved double-doubles for Jamestown (5-3, 2-0 WDA).  Newman had 15 kills and 15 digs.  Falk scored 13 kills and 19 digs.  Newman also added a block and an ace.  Falk had three blocks and four aces.

Claire Marker had six kills and two and a half blocks.  Hannah Attleson had six kills, 19 digs and 23 set assists.  Haley Attleson achieved five kills and two digs.  Mari Anderson had five kills, three and a half blocks, two digs and two aces.  Quinn Biloff added 17 set assists, two aces and 11 digs.  Jetta Peterson led the Blue Jays in digs with 31.

Tenasey Leisy had nine kills and two blocks for the Coyotes (0-9, 0-3 WDA).

Jamestown will host Legacy Tuesday at Jerry Meyer Arena.
