MINOT – Jamestown Blue Jay girls golfer Mylee Michel qualified for the 2025 Class A state tournament Monday by shooting 82 at the Minot North Invitational at Souris Valley Golf Course.

This was the first state qualifier of the season, and any individual shooting 89 or better automatically qualified for the state tournament later this month in Fargo.  Michel finished eighth.

As a team, Jamestown finished sixth, shooting 361.  Belle Sjostrom, Braelyn Wiese and Taylor Earnest each shot 93.  Katelyn Monson fired a 99.  Autumn Roberts shot 108.

Mandan won with 315.

The Blue Jays will compete at the St. Mary’s Invitational next Monday in Bismarck.
