VALLEY CITY, ND  (NewsDakota.com)  After a presumed record-breaking night Tuesday night against Kindred, Hi-Liner volleyball standout Kadie Kocka took time to be a Player Spotlight guest for NewsDakota.com.

Kocka and the Hi-Liners face Central Cass Thursday night at the Hi-Liner Activity Center.  They tipped Kindred in five sets Tuesday, with Kocka racking up 35 kills.

Kocka says she was introduced to volleyball by her mother, Vanessa Kocka, and remembers being at the gym as a child when her mom was coaching, shagging balls for the varsity teams of the time.  She enjoys spending free time at the lake and is looking forward to her shadow-teaching as part of her pre-teaching education at Valley City High School.
