JAMESTOWN – It isn’t likely, but it is still possible.

Jamestown Blue Jays Boys Soccer still has a very slim chance of making the state tournament after a goalless draw with Minot Saturday at Rotary Field.

Minot had a 3-1 advantage in shots on goal.  Evan Harty made three saves in goal for Jamestown (5-8-2, 5-8-1 WDA).

At 16 points, the Blue Jays stand five points behind fourth-place Century in the WDA and one point behind Bismarck and Williston, who share fifth.  To make the state tournament, Jamestown must win their last two matches, have Century their last two, and have Bismarck and Williston play their last two matches with results other than two wins.

Jamestown will host Mandan-St. Mary’s Tuesday at 7:30 PM at Rotary Field.
