VALLEY CITY, N.D. (PPR) – Having the Consulate General of Japan visit North Dakota is one thing. But having that same Consul General get storm stranded in Valley City, North Dakota is another.

Lindsey Warner is Deputy Director of the North Dakota Trade Office and is accompanying the Japanese delegation.

Warner says the Consulate is making what she says is a “grassroots caravan trip” to North Dakota.

Warner says North Dakota has a strong trade relationship with Japan. She says those relationships often go back decades and the friendly relationship is on-going.
