VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) The Viking mens basketball team is on the road this weekend looking for their first conference wins of the year.

VCSU travels to Bellevue University Friday and Dakota State Saturday. The Viking men are 0-3 in Frontier Conference play after a 107-104 loss to Montana-Western and a 73-61 loss to Montana Tech two weekends ago.

Viking head coach Ryan Montgomery joins us to break down those two games, which were very different but both against teams receiving national recognition. He also discusses the mix of youth and experience in the new faces for the Vikings this season, and gives a preview of their matchups with Bellevue and Dakota State this Friday and Saturday.
