VALLEY CITY, ND (NewsDakota.com) The Viking women are on the road this week, with one of the toughest weekends of their year in front of them.

VCSU faces Bellevue University Friday and Dakota State Saturday. The Vikings struggled with the physical play of Bellevue last year, but competed well with the Trojans, one of the top five teams in the nation, last year, including a sizable win at the W. E. Osmon Fieldhouse.

Head coach Vanessa Johnson discusses the challenge of these two teams, the importance of the Vikings win over Montana Tech in their last matchup, and the personnel that have been fueling the Vikings this season.
