(NewsDakota.com)- Jamestown’s all-state middle hitter Siri Jystad will continue her playing career close to home as she has chosen to attend Jamestown College. It was announced yesterday by JC Sports Information that Jystad had signed her letter of intent.

Jystad will go from playing for one Hegerle to another. Jamestown High’s head coach Sarah Hegerle’s husband Jon is the head coach at Jamestown College. “I am thrilled that Siri has decided to become a Jimmie,” Jon said in the release. “Her athleticism combined with her character will be a welcomed asset to the volleyball team and campus.”

The 5-foot-9 senior was named second team All-state and All-WDA.
