VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – On Saturday, February 21 at approximately 5:28 a.m., officers responded to a reported disturbance involving a male individual who was allegedly engaged in a verbal altercation with the reporting party and had threatened them with a firearm.
Police Chief Nick Horner said upon arrival, officers made contact with 33-year-old Eugene Smith. Smith was taken into custody without incident. A handgun and ammunition were recovered at the scene and seized as evidence. Smith is currently being held on a charge of Terrorizing. Horner said this investigation remains ongoing.
