VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A 26-year-old Jamestown woman died in a single vehicle crash on Interstate 94 in Barnes County near mile marker 298 Sunday morning.
The Highway Patrol said on March 8, at 4:09 a.m. a 2016 Jeep Grand Cherokee traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of I-94 departed the roadway and struck a bridge support on the north side of the roadway. The driver was pronounced deceased at the scene as a result of injuries sustained in the crash. The report said she was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
North Dakota Highway Patrol, Valley City Police Department, Barnes County Sheriff’s Department, Barnes County Ambulance, Barnes County Fire Department responded to the crash which remains under investigation.
