BISMARCK – Jamestown Blue Jays Girls Track & Field finished sixth of six teams Thursday at their opening event of the season, the WDA Indoor Invite at the University of Mary Fieldhouse and Wellness Center.

The Blue Jays tallied 24 points.  Winner Legacy had 122.

Jamestown’s best individual finish was by Hayden Olson, who was second in the long jump with a best jump of 15 feet, six and a half inches.  Olson also finished fourth in the triple jump at 33 feet.

CeCe Romsdal and Claire Marker were fourth and fifth, respectively in the 400 meters.  Romsdal’s time was 1:04.38.  Marker ran it in 1:04.92.

Jamestown’s teams will compete in the Class A state indoor meet in Fargo on Friday, March 27.
