
VALLEY CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two local school districts are sending their robotics teams to the world competition.
Valley City Jr/Sr High Coach- Joelle Manlove said Three Geniuses and the New Guy have been invited to compete at the VEX IQ Worlds Championship in St. Louis, MO. She said the students are currently fundraising to cover the cost of travel, registration, and materials for the teams to attend.
The VEX IQ Worlds Championship is the largest robotics competition in the world, bringing together top teams from across the globe to showcase their skills in engineering, coding, and teamwork. Students design, build, and program robots to complete game-based challenges, all while documenting their process and demonstrating problem-solving and innovation. Participating in this event provides students with hands-on STEM experience, builds confidence, and inspires future careers in science and technology.
Students from Valley City Public School and the Maple Valley School district are sending teams to compete in the world competition.
