BISMARCK – Century scored early in game one and the deciding runs in their last time up in game two to sweep a doubleheader from Jamestown Tuesday 8-2 and 9-5 at 1st International Bank Field at the Sanford Sports Complex.

Game 1: Century 8, Jamestown 2
Century (7-10, 5-6 WDA) came from a run down by scoring two runs in the second inning and four in the fourth to take control of the game. Emmet Pehl hit a two-run single in the second. Aidan Herner brought in three with a triple in the third.

Bennett Goehner drove in both runs for Jamestown (3-8, 3-6) with singles. Brenner Weber had three hits.

Game 2: Century 9, Jamestown 5
Jamestown (3-9, 3-7 WDA) held a 4-1 lead through four and a half innings, but Century (8-10, 6-6) scored four in the fifth for a 5-4 lead. The Blue Jays tied the game with a Nolan Maulding RBI single in the top of the sixth, but the Patriots scored four again in the sixth.

Cody Busch had three hits, including two doubles and a triple, and two RBI for Jamestown. Weber again had three hits.

Jamestown will host Watford City in a doubleheader Thursday at 4:30 at Jack Brown Stadium.
