JAMESTOWN, N.D. (JPRD) – Jamestown Parks and Recreation District (JPRD) invites the community to celebrate the grand opening of the Nickeus Park All-Abilities Playground on Wednesday, May 20, from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Nickeus Park.
The celebration will begin with an official ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:00 pm, followed by food, drinks, and family-friendly activities for the community to enjoy throughout the evening.
The Nickeus Park All-Abilities Playground was designed to create an inclusive play space where children of all abilities can play, explore, and connect together. The project
reflects Jamestown Parks and Recreation’s ongoing commitment to improving accessibility and creating welcoming recreational opportunities for all families in the
community.
“This playground represents the power of community support and the importance of creating spaces where every child feels included,” said Amy Walters, Executive Director
of Jamestown Parks and Recreation. “We are excited to celebrate this milestone with the community and everyone who helped make this project possible.”
Community members of all ages are encouraged to attend the free event, tour the new playground, and help celebrate the completion of this exciting addition to Jamestown’s
park system.
