BISMARCK, N.D. (NDDOT) – The rest area near Oriska, N.D. along Interstate 94 closed on April 28th of 2025 for an extended improvement project. Located two miles east of Oriska at mile marker 304, the rest area construction project is not expected to be completed until the Fall of 2026.

This project included removing the existing building and constructing a new one as well as reconstructing the parking lot to add additional room for semi trucks. The total cost of this project is about $9.7 million for all improvements including the parking lot and building project.
