VALLEY CITY, ND (St. Catherine School) – St. Catherine School is excited to announce its Summer Tutoring Program designed to help students strengthen academic skills, reduce summer learning loss, and prepare confidently for the upcoming school year. Tutoring will start the first week of June. The program will be led by Ms. Halley Thoreson and will focus on individualized instruction in reading and math. Tutoring sessions are designed to meet students where they are academically and to provide encouragement and personalized support throughout the summer months.

Now entering its 110th year of operation, St. Catherine School has a long tradition of academic excellence, strong family partnerships, and faith-based education in the Valley City community. The school prides itself on an experienced, dedicated staff committed to helping each child grow academically, socially, emotionally, and spiritually.

Families may choose between two scheduling options: 30-minute sessions held three times per week for $150 per month, 60-minute sessions held three times per week for $300 per month.

“We know that summer can be a wonderful time for rest and family activities, but it can also be a time when students lose some of the academic progress they made during the school year,” said Principal/Head of School Nick Lee. “This program is designed to help students maintain momentum, build confidence, and enter the next school year prepared for success.”

Registration for the Summer Tutoring Program is now open.
