N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – As crews continue their work on Jamestown sanitary sewer project, residents and drivers are asked to be aware of the following closures that will take place near the Jamestown Business Center.

Second Ave NE Closures

Starting on Friday, August 23, 2nd Ave NE will be closed from 4th St NE to 5th St NE. This closure is expected to be in place for about two weeks.

The intersection of 2nd Ave NE and 4th St NE (Highway 20) will be closed on Friday, August 23, and Saturday, August 24. During this time, a detour will be in place.

Toward the end of the week of August 26, 2nd Ave NE will also be closed starting at 3rd St NE and extending south to the railroad tracks. This closure is expected to be in place for about two weeks.
During this time, vehicles can access the Civic Center parking lot via a temporary entrance in the northeast corner of the lot.

Third Street NE Closure Extended

During the week of August 26, a closure on 3rd St NE will be extended. The closure, which starts at 3rd Ave NW, will be extended east to 2nd Ave NE. 1st Ave N and 2nd Ave NW will remain open during this time.
