N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown has hired a new city forester.

Doug Wiles will be introduced as Jamestown’s new city forester to the public Thursday, September 12th at 4 p.m. It will be Jamestown’s 2013 Arbor Day Celebration.

Wiles started his forestry duties in Jamestown on August 1st. For the most part since he’s been hired, Wiles has been spending time looking at trees for possible Dutch Elm disease and other possible flaws.
