CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Dacotah Bank market president Dick Gulmon and senior business banker Paige Bjornson present a gift for the Steve Welken Memorial Scholarship to Alison Kasowski, assistant director of annual giving at Valley City State University.

Steve Welken was a long-time supporter of VCSU and the president of Grotberg Electric in Valley City. He died in a vehicle crash south of Valley City on August 24.
