N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Officials with Dakota Spirit AgEnergy say construction is planned to begin in January for the 65-million gallon per year, renewable fuels plant in Spiritwood.
Located in the Spiritwood Energy Park, the plant will purchase roughly 23 million bushels of corn to produce ethanol and fuel-grade corn oil to make bio-diesel and distillers grain for livestock feed.
The $155 million plan is looking to employ roughly 275 workers during its construction and will employ about 36 people when it goes on line and is operational.
