CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City’s Fire Chief, Gary Retterath and his wife, Connie, pledge their support of the V-500 Scholarship Program. Gary says, “We know that the college is very important to the community and was important to us when we attended. We want to continue to support VCSU, and we appreciate everything it has done for the community.”

Executive Director of VCSU Advancement Larry Robinson (Far left in picture) says, “V-500 is reliant on donors like Gary and Connie for their continue support of our scholarship program. They are clearly “Making a Difference”  in the lives of our students.”

Gary and Connie will be sponsoring a student’s $1,500 V-500 scholarship this fall. The student will be notified of the donor who made their scholarship possible. Gary and Connie will also be informed of who received the scholarship and have the opportunity to meet them at the December 2014 V-500 Recognition Banquet.
