CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) The Dairy Queen in Valley City was burglarized and an undisclosed amount of cash was taken from the safe inside the store in the early morning hours of January 17. Investigators looked at surveillance video of the crime and discovered that no forced entry was used to get into the store or the safe.

Police Chief Fred Thompson says we believe a former employee was involved in the burglary. He says the suspect and an accomplice, apparently used the stolen money to buy a vehicle and leave town.

The search for 26-year-old Jacob Lowell Renfro and 21-year-old Annalice Monique Cade continues. Cade is wanted for Theft of Property and Burglary.  Renfro is wanted for Criminal Conspiracy to Commit Burglary.
