N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Great Lakes Airlines has announced that they intend to discontinue commercial air service starting February 1st for both Jamestown and Devils Lake.

According to Matt Leitner, the Jamestown Airport Manager, a recent press release explained that fares will be refunded and tickets will no longer be sold. “Both the congressional delegation and North Dakota Aeronautics have been apprised of the situation.” Matt stated.

More information will be available after Matt, JRAA Chairman Jim Boyd, and Jamestown Mayor Katie Andersen will be participating in a conference call with Devils Lake, ND Aeronautics, the North Dakota federal congressional delegation and the U.S. DOT at 3PM on Monday January 27.
