N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Tourism in Jamestown will be under a new name this summer.

At their monthly meeting, the tourism board voted on changing their name to Jamestown Tourism.
Previously called the Buffalo City Tourism Foundation, the board believed that the name change would be able to better encompass what the city of Jamestown has to offer. Executive Director Searle Swedlund stated that we will still be known as the Buffalo City, but the name change was needed.

The name change will go along with the new tourism brand “Discover Jamestown.”
