N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol has released their statistics for their sobriety enforcement in Griggs, Steele, and Traill Counties.

According to the department, the patrols were held on Friday and Saturday November 6th and 7th. Six drivers were arrested during the increased patrols; three for DUI, one for driving under suspension and two for drug possession charges.

35 citations were issued, three of which were open containers, and 26 warnings were also issued. Sobriety enforcement is held to cut down on drivers drinking and driving.
