CITY, N.D. – (NewsDakota.com) An SUV and a pickup collided at the intersection of 2nd Avenue Northwest and 9th Street Northwest Friday in Valley City about 2:40pm.

The impact from the crash sent the pickup into a nearby duplex damaging the structure. A slippery road surface may have contributed to the crash after a light snow fall made roads slushy in Valley City.

Police Chief Fred Thompson said four people were transported to Mercy Hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries following the crash.
