The Hjemdahl Lodge in Valley City is saying Velkommen to an Ellis Island Evening on Friday, April 26th at 7 PM.

The event at the Valley City Eagles Club will have participants take a step back into the past by bringing a picture of your ancestors to enter the best photo contest.

Dress in costume of how your grandparents arrived to the US or come as you are. You will also have a chance to Pin the spot on the Norwegian Map.

All “passengers” will receive a Certificate of Immigration upon arrival.

Enjoy food, fund, history and a good time! The event is free and open to the public.
